Understanding the language
The introductory course of this video series dives into the basic LGBTQ+ terminology, including definitions for sexual orientation, gender identity, sex assigned at birth, and expression.
Gender Affirmation
Who we are on the inside
This course discusses the nuances of gender identity. We learn how to understand and validate what our LGBTQ+ youth are feeling on the inside and how to properly identify and address them.
Coming Out
Earning their Trust
In this course we learn how to listen, acknowledge, affirm and properly support our LGBTQ+ youth on perhaps one of the most important decisions of their lives – coming out.
Bullying
How to be their super hero ally
This course tackles the topic of bullying – where it happens, how to prevent it, and how to advocate and be a proactive Super Hero ally on their journey to feeling respected and accepted.
Friendships & Dating
Finding their people
In this course, we navigate the social waters of friendship and dating. We’ll learn about how to build a positive and accepting network around your LGBTQ+ youth, how to set healthy boundaries and create a safe and welcoming environment for their friends and partners.
